Members of the church gathered for reconciliation.

Litany of Reconciliation

A little over two years ago members of St. Lawrence church began offering the Litany of Reconciliation on the front steps of our church every Friday at noon.  The tradition of the Litany began in Coventry Cathedral in England and continues the ministry of reconciliation through the Community of the Cross of Nails which includes over 300 member groups and churches around the world.

Here at St. Lawrence, along with the weekly litany, we now have a monthly eucharist following the Litany on the 2nd Friday of the month.  This service focuses on healing prayer and reconciliation.  We have also recently started a small group which looks at how we take the ministry of Reconciliation from the "Steps to the Streets".  We meet monthly to discuss and deepen our understanding of reconciliation and how we can engage more fully in efforts for reconciliation in the community around us.

We invite you to join us every Friday at noon and to share with us in this important ministry of prayer and action.
